Yaw Edinam Cofie is a lawyer and a Land Economist. He has been in practice since 2013 and specializes in Dispute Resolution, Banking and Finance, Projects and Infrastructure, Natural Resources, and Corporate and Commercial law.
Edinam obtained his LLB from the University of Ghana in 2011 and his Professional Qualifying Certificate from the Ghana School of Law in 2013. He also holds a BSc. in Land Economy from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi Ghana, earned in 2007.
In addition to his legal practice, Edinam co-founded and co-edits ghanalawhub.com, an online law platform that provides insights on legal developments in Ghana and Africa. He has contributed to research on various legal topics, including the impact of agrarian commercialization on food security and the right to food; Ghana’s investment laws (including foreign participation restrictions) and land ownership (including the legal regime for foreign ownership of land in Ghana).
